✨ The short version

We only collect what we need to run the game: your Google email, your username, your date of birth, and how you play. We never sell your information, we don't show you targeted adverts, and we don't track you around the internet. If you want your data gone, tell us and we'll delete it.

1. Who looks after your data

Glowlings is operated by Barney Roddis, based in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller. Contact: [email protected] or the in-game feedback page.

3. What we don't do

We don't sell your data to anyone.
We don't show targeted advertising and don't use advertising trackers.
We don't profile children or use anyone's data to pressure them into spending.
We don't collect your precise location.

4. Who we share data with

Microsoft Azure — hosts the game and its database.
Google — provides sign-in (they tell us your email; we don't get your Google password).
Stripe — will process real-money payments when the shop's cash purchases launch; they handle card details under their own privacy policy.

These providers act under contracts that protect your data. We'll also share data if the law requires it (for example a lawful request from authorities).

5. How long we keep it

Your data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (like payment records, kept 6 years for tax purposes).

6. Your rights

You can ask us to: show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. Email us and we'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

If you're under 18, a parent or guardian can also exercise these rights for you.

7. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll flag it in-game. The date at the top always tells you the current version.
